Tyagan Miller's documentary, portrait, and fine art photography has focused on issues of race, religion, at-risk youth, aging, migrant labor, landscape, combat veterans, and PTSD. Published in 2000, his book Twilight in Arcadia chronicles a year of tobacco growing and undocumented migrant labor in the American Midwest. Covenant: Scenes from an African American Church, his latest book, interprets the life of an inner city African American church congregation.
